Who We Are & What We Do...
HOME, Inc., is a Non-Profit Corporation that began in August 1998 buying and renovating older houses into accessible homes and renting them to disabled folks.
The need for affordable, accessible housing is enormous. Most home builders of today do not build houses or apartments that are designed completely accessible for disabled tenants.
In 1999, HOME, Inc., started building brand new apartments that are universally designed to improve the availability of affordable, accessible housing for people with disabilities.
HOME Inc., currently owns and manages 44 units located primarily in the central Fredericksburg city area. Most are brand new 1 & 2 Bedroom accessible apartments. We own a few Single Family Houses and Duplexes also. Go to the " Properties " page to see pictures and descriptions of them.
