We are not a subsidized low-income housing provider.
We own and manage a total of 44 units that are all mostly new
apartments and a few single-family houses and duplexes.
The majority of our tenants have some form of a disability, and we
try to place disabled tenants into units that best fit their needs.
We do give disabled people on our Waiting List first priority.
However, a disability is not "required" to qualify as a tenant.
We accept applicants with Section 8 Voucher Assistance.
To apply for housing, we require a non-refundable $30.00 fee with a
completed rental application. A full background and credit check
is performed on every applicant. A 12 month lease and security
deposit equal to one month's rent is standard, with the first
month rent and security deposit paid in full prior to move in date.
Other lease options are reviewed individually by the management.
ACCESSIBLE
All of our units have 36" wide doors for wheelchair access,
enlarged bathrooms with support grab-bars. Most of the units
have roll-in showers and some have full sized bathtubs.
The kitchens are equipped with lowered cabinets and counter-tops,
roll-under sinks and stove-tops. All of our new apartments have
widened hallways and lowered light switches.
Most of the apartment units have hookups for washer and dryers,
the multi-unit building has a separate coin-laundry room for tenants.
The brand new Home Apartments in Stafford each have front
loading washer and dryers in the kitchen closet spaces.
